The visit to this 67 year old & classic eatery was nothing short of nostalgia as I have been visiting it since childhood.
The good thing is that nothing has changed much and they are serving the same taste over a period of time.
Their specialisation FRIED FISH (singada) (Rs.1300 per kg.) that was crispy outside soft & juicy inside, explains why this place has huge fan following for the same.
My second most favorite dish here is Golden EGG PAKORA (Rs.50 for 2 pieces). A full boiled egg that is coated with besan & spices and then deep fried, comes out as a ball of heaven on the earth. Crispiness of the perfectly spiced coating went well with the egg.
Am all praises for their TANDOORI CHICKEN (Half a portion for Rs.190/-). Appropriately spicy chicken pieces were grilled inside a big clay oven and were simply fantastic in taste.
Have these all with their mint chutney & onion and you are sorted for the day !!
